Writer. Artist. Wanderer.
You’ll always find me exploring back roads in our Sprinter van, meeting new friends, and of course—sharing stories. Some tame, some wild.
My fictional work is grounded in the rural communities where I’ve traveled, and the underrepresented voices of the people who live there. EVIE WALTERS TAKES THE WHEEL (October 2026/Lake Union), my debut women’s fiction is layered with those voices.
I write at rest stops and scenic overlooks, in tiny-town libraries where the population barely hits 500 and camped in places where the stars seemed almost touchable.
Maybe I’ll see you out on the road!
Kindness,
Kathleen
“Travel softens your edges, widens your perspective, and turns judgment into understanding. Oh, and it makes for really fun storytelling.
